Cameron Annis, son of Chad and Terrie Annis, has been named Spring Lake High School’s Rotary Student of the Month for April.
He was honored by the Spring Lake Rotary at their April 12 luncheon.
Annis excels academically, maintaining a 3.96 GPA and earning a spot on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll for the past three years.
He is involved in school and community-related extracurricular activities, where he holds leadership and volunteer positions. He’s a member of the men’s choir, the nature club, and is a recipient of a community service award.
Outside of school, Annis works at Orchard Market while pursuing his passions in politics, urban planning, resource management and gardening.
Annis plans on attending Grand Valley State University, majoring in political science and natural resource management, then seeking a career in politics concentrating on environmental advocacy.
