Emma Wahlberg, daughter of Michelle and Chad Wahlberg, has been named Spring Lake High School’s Rotary Student of the Month for December.

Involvement in National Honor Society, cheerleading, clubs and her community are an integral part of Wahlberg’s life. She excels academically, maintaining a 4.0 GPA, earning a spot on the Superintendent’s Honor Roll for the past three years and entrance into the NHS.

Wahlberg is involved in many school and community-related extracurricular activities where she holds leadership and volunteer positions. She is president of the NHS, and is also involved in Interact, Student Council, Be Nice, varsity cheerleading, Girl Up and BPA. She is also a Girl Scout ambassador who has earned her Gold Award.

Wahlberg plans on attending a four-year college and majoring in engineering.
